Overwintering of Piezodorus guildinii (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae) Populations
Neotropical Entomology, 2019Piezodorus guildinii (Westwood) is a soybean pest that causes significant economic losses in the Americas. The variability of overwintering (diapause) traits was evaluated in populations of the Southwest (SW) (33°55'-34°17'S, 57°13'-57°46'W) during 2-year period (2011-2013) and of the Northwest (NW) (32°01'-33°02'S, 57°50'-57°24'W) during 1-year period

Color Preference of Harlequin Bug (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae)
Journal of Economic Entomology, 2017Harlequin bug, Murgantia histrionica (Hahn), is an important pest of Brassica crops in the southern United States. Regional populations are highly variable and unpredictable from farm-to-farm, and therefore accurate monitoring of activity would greatly improve IPM decision-making and the timing of control tactics.

Sampling Phytophagous Pentatomidae on Soybean
1980At least 40 species of stink bugs have been found to occur worldwide on soybean; however, damage has actually been documented for only a few of these. There is at least one important stink bug species in every major soybean producing region of the world.
