Overwintering of Piezodorus guildinii (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae) Populations

Neotropical Entomology, 2019
Piezodorus guildinii (Westwood) is a soybean pest that causes significant economic losses in the Americas. The variability of overwintering (diapause) traits was evaluated in populations of the Southwest (SW) (33°55'-34°17'S, 57°13'-57°46'W) during 2-year period (2011-2013) and of the Northwest (NW) (32°01'-33°02'S, 57°50'-57°24'W) during 1-year period

Color Preference of Harlequin Bug (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae)

Journal of Economic Entomology, 2017
Harlequin bug, Murgantia histrionica (Hahn), is an important pest of Brassica crops in the southern United States. Regional populations are highly variable and unpredictable from farm-to-farm, and therefore accurate monitoring of activity would greatly improve IPM decision-making and the timing of control tactics.

Sampling Phytophagous Pentatomidae on Soybean

1980
At least 40 species of stink bugs have been found to occur worldwide on soybean; however, damage has actually been documented for only a few of these. There is at least one important stink bug species in every major soybean producing region of the world.
