DNA barcoding of Pentatomomorpha bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) from Western Ghats of India
Recent studies from East Asia and Canadian National Collection of Insects have established the utility of DNA barcoding technique in identification of true bugs. The present study is an expansion of the database by adding mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase I (mtCOI) sequences from forty three species of indigenous true bugs of India.

Illumina sequencing more accurately reflects the composition of the gut bacterial community in Ishikawaella–Plataspidae system. Closely related strains of Ishikawaella are likely to coexist in the same host. Host–symbiont coevolution exists at the population level of Plataspidae stinkbug Megacopta cribraria.

Ščitaste stenice (Pentatomidae) kot škodljivci gojenih rastlin in načini njihovega zatiranja
Šestdeset odstotkov vseh znanih vrst stenic (Heteroptera) spada med fitofage. Gospodarsko pomembnejše vrste spadajo v skupini Cimicomorpha in Pentatomomorpha, predstavnikom slednje pa pripisujemo zaradi škodljivosti na gojenih rastlinah vse večji pomen ...
