Proton Pump Inhibitor‐Induced Fundic Gland Polyps With Massive Bleeding Regressed on Alternative Histamine 2 Receptor Antagonist Therapy

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
Abstract We report a case of massive bleeding from proton pump inhibitor (PPI)‐induced fundic gland polyps (FGPs) that regressed after switching to a histamine‐2 receptor antagonist (H2RA). A 46‐year‐old man with antiphospholipid syndrome had been receiving warfarin and lansoprazole for 4 years.

Prophylactic Mechanical Closure for Preventing Delayed Bleeding after Gastric Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
Nine comparative studies (n = 2646) were included. Prophylactic mechanical closure was associated with lower clinically significant delayed bleeding after gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection (risk ratio 0.36, 95% confidence interval 0.16–0.82; I2 = 65%).

Effect and Mechanism of Acacetin Against Stress‐Induced Gastric Mucosal Damage: Network Pharmacology, Molecular Docking and Experimental Verification

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
This study evaluated Acacetin's therapeutic potential for stress‐induced gastric mucosal damage and investigated its potential mechanism. Based on network pharmacology and molecular docking, Acacetin demonstrated potential mucosal protective effects through multiple ferroptosis‐related targets.

Polyphenolic Diversity, Antioxidant Activity, and Anticancer Potential of Celtis australis L. Fruits: New Insights

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
Extracts from Celtis australis fruit exhibit good antioxidant activity—Extracts from C. australis fruit inhibit selectively the development of various human cancer cell lines in a dose‐dependent manner. Extracts from C. australis fruit are rich in phenolic compounds mostly with known anticancer activity. ABSTRACT Celtis australis L.
