ADPr-Peptide Synthesis

2018
Synthetic mono-ADPr-peptides are useful for structural, biochemical, and proteomics studies. We describe here a protocol for the preparation of mono-ADPr-peptides based on a fairly standard Fmoc-based solid-phase synthesis. Phosphoribosylated precursor building blocks are introduced into the peptide chain on solid-phase and subsequently converted to ...

The Synthesis of Peptides [PDF]

open access: possible, 1949
Publisher Summary The usefulness of peptide synthesis to protein chemistry is abundant. Modern methods of peptide synthesis allows the preparation of special peptides of low molecular weight and known chemical structure for use as models in the examination of several physical and chemical properties of proteins.

Synthesis of peptide analogues using the multipin peptide synthesis method

Analytical Biochemistry, 1991
Modification of the multipin peptide synthesis method which allows the simultaneous synthesis of large numbers of different peptide analogues is described. Peptides were assembled on polyethylene pins derivatized with a 4-(beta-alanyloxymethyl)benzoate (beta-Ala-HMB) handle. For comparative purposes, peptides were also assembled on the diketopiperazine-

PEPTIDE SYNTHESIS WITH CARBODIIMIDE.

International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1975
An isotope dilution assay for racemization during acid couplings is described and applied to carbodiimide‐mediated synthesis. Using the coupling of t‐BOC‐L‐phenylalanine with glycine derivatives as a model, racemization in solution falls in the 0.01 to 0.1% range and is a function of reagent concentrations.
