Diversity of Peracarida (Crustacea, Malacostraca) caught in a suprabenthic sampler
Antarctic Science, 2003The composition of suprabenthic Peracarida from a depth between 1 and 1.33 m above the seafloor was investigated. In order to study the abundance and diversity quantitatively, the samples were taken by means of the supranet of an epibenthic sledge off Kapp Norvegia and off the South Shetland Islands.

ECOPHYSIOLOGY OF NEOMYSIS INTEGER (MYSIDACEA: PERACARIDA)
1997Neomysis integer (Leach) (Peracarida: Mysidacea) is a common component of the hyperbenthos of Western European estuaries, and this study focused on the ecophysiology and ecotoxicology of this mysid. Behavioural and physiological responses of N. integer to physical and chemical variables (current velocity, substratum type, temperature and salinity) were

The surface microstructure of marine and terrestrial isopoda (Crustacea, Peracarida)
Zoomorphology, 1982The microstructure of the surface of thirteen marine littoral and two terrestrial isopods was investigated by scanning electron microscopy. A great diversity of surface ornamentation is present, including non-sensory microscales, pits, tubercles, and ridges, and sensory tricorns, pit organs, pores, papillae and setae. Microscales are common features of

A study of Thermosbaena mirabilis (Malacostraca, Peracarida) and its reproduction
Journal of Cell Science, 1962ABSTRACT Knowledge of the anatomy of Thermosbaena is extended as follows: (i) The topography of the head and anterior thoracic region, and the orientation and relationships of the mouthparts and anterior appendages are described, (ii) A branchial chamber is located underneath each lateral carapace flap, (iii) ‘Skin’ glands are ...
