Controlling the Guanidinium Cation Rotation by Cation–π Interactions
A lanthanide π‐container has been employed to trap a guanidinium cation inside the aromatic cavity by cation–π interactions. X‐ray crystallography and solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy at fast magic‐angle spinning (MAS) frequencies have been utilized to probe the underlying host–guest interactions.

First Evidence for Ozonido‐TMC Complexes of Iron and Cobalt
Reaction of ozone with iron(II) complexes [(TMC)Fe(OTf)]BArF, [(D12‐TMC)Fe(OTf)]BArF, and cobalt(II) complexes [(TMC)Co(OTf)]BArF, [(D12‐TMC)Co(X)]BArF (X = OTf, F) gives ozonido and oxido complexes at temperatures as low as –155°C in a 4:1 mixture of 2‐Me‐THF and THF. ABSTRACT We present compelling evidence for the first Fe‐ and Co‐ozonido complexes: [

2,4-Dimethylanilinium perchlorate [PDF]
The crystal packing of the title compound, C(8)H(12)N(+)·ClO(4) (-), is stabilized by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, the protonated amine group acting as a hydrogen-bond donor with the perchlorate O atoms as acceptors. These connect neighbouring cations and anions, forming a two-dimensional network.

Biphasic Perchlorate Activation Enabled by a Dinuclear Fe-NHC Complex
Perchlorate, initially perceived as a weakly coordinating counterion rather than a reactive oxidizing reagent due to its kinetic stability, has garnered attention for its potential in microbial systems.
