Perchlorate in Milk

Environmental Science & Technology, 2003
Perchlorate was unambiguously detected by ion chromatography-suppressed conductivity (IC-CD) and/or ion chromatography-electrospray mass spectrometry (IC-MS) in seven of seven supermarket milk samples bought randomly in Lubbock, TX. Quantitation by IC-MS and IC-suppressed conductivity detection in conjunction with a preconcentration-preelution method ...

Perchloric acid in the synthesis of covalent perchlorates

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1977
1. The authors have investigated the conditions of hydration of multivalent metal ions by perchloric acid; hydration does not occur in acid containing oxonium perchlorate. Transfer of water from perchloric acid to the ion being hydrated proceeds via a stage of formation of oxonium perchlorate by equilibrial auto-dehydration. 2.

Microidentification of cupric and perchlorate ions as cupric pyridine perchlorate

Mikrochemie Vereinigt mit Mikrochimica Acta, 1947
A microchemical test involving the formation of Cu(C5H5N)4(ClO4)2 in perfect crystals, the edge or profile angles of which can be accurately measured, is proposed for the cupric and perchlorate ions. Some properties, including the values of the angles mentioned, are described, and an analysis of cupric pyridine perchlorate is presented.

Ammonium perchlorate and ammonium perchlorate-binder sandwich combustion

12th Aerospace Sciences Meeting, 1974
order of 300 \i in width. The deflagration of all three burners appeared laminar, with a definite temperature peak above the center of the burner. The PP-COMM AP had a scalloped surface which accounted for a more unsteady appearance of the gas flow above the deflagrating AP. A yellow-green zone was visible within the SC-UHP AP extending from the burner
