Northernmost records of Pagrus auriga (Actinopterygii: Perciformes: Sparidae) and Pomadasys incisus (Actinopterygii: Perciformes: Haemulidae) in the eastern Atlantic [PDF]
The first records of the redbanded seabream, Pagrus auriga Valenciennes, 1843 (Sparidae), and the bastard grunt, Pomadasys incisus (Bowdich, 1825) (Haemulidae), from Galician waters (NW Spain) are reported herewith. Both findings constitute the northernmost confirmed records of those fishes in the eastern Atlantic.

ABSTRACT Megalocytivirus, a large double‐stranded DNA virus belonging to the Iridoviridae family, has infected over 100 species of fish, leading to significant economic losses in the aquaculture, food, and ornamental fish industries. These viruses exhibit icosahedral symmetry and have diameters ranging from 120 to 200 nm.

Gobies (Perciformes: Gobiidae) in Bolinao, northwestern Philippines [PDF]
AbstractWe conducted a visual and photographic survey of the gobiidae in the Bolinao area of the Philipines, located on the western tip of the Lingayen gulf, on the west coast of Luzon island. We identified a total of 40 species, of which 18 are shrimp-associated. One species found (Myersina lachneri) constitutes a range expansion into the Philippines.
