The Technique of Auger-Percussive-Rotary Drilling Research
2013 Fifth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2013A new drilling technique used in a wider range of application auger-percussive-rotary drilling technique is defined based on operation experiences and combined with the theoretical analysis in the anchor engineering of soil and rock. After summarizing the advances of this technique some existing problems encountered in practice are presented to improve.

A SELF-EXCITED SYSTEM FOR PERCUSSIVE-ROTARY DRILLING
Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2003Abstract A dynamic model for a new principle of percussive-rotary drilling is presented. This is a non-linear mechanical system with two degrees of freedom, in which friction-induced vibration is used for excitation of impacts, which influence the parameters of stick–slip motion.
