Angiographic Visualization for Percutaneous Renal Biopsy
American Journal of Kidney Diseases, 1983Fifteen patients underwent visualization of the kidney for percutaneous biopsy by selective renal angiography. Biopsies were performed in 11 patients, and adequate renal tissue was obtained in all instances. Complications of percutaneous renal biopsy.
Journal of the Indian Medical Association, 1995Three hundred twenty renal biopsies were done in 305 patients over a period of 5 years. Adequate tissue for pathologic diagnosis was obtained in about 79% of biopsy attempts. The overall morbidity of procedure was 6.8%. Haematuria in 11.8% cases was the commonest complication.
