Dysphagia in Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Scoping Review
ABSTRACT Objective There are four phases of swallowing: oral preparatory, oral transit, oropharyngeal, and esophageal. Disruption of any phase(s) can lead to dysphagia. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) children have a high rate of dysphagia compared with neurotypical peers.

Active Emergency Management of Adult Acute Epiglottitis: An Analysis of 570 Cases
ABSTRACT Objective Acute epiglottitis, which is primarily caused by bacterial infection, can quickly progress to life‐threatening airway obstruction. The first 24 h after symptom onset is a critical window for management. However, few studies have evaluated the effect of emergency management during this period or have identified the factors that ...

Thai Translation and Validation of Chronic Rhinosinusitis‐Patient Reported Outcome (CRS‐PRO)
ABSTRACT Objectives The Chronic Rhinosinusitis Patient‐Reported Outcome (CRS‐PRO) questionnaire was recently developed for use in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) patients. This instrument was developed using current diagnostic criteria. This study aimed to translate and validate CRS‐PRO for Thai CRS patients.

For nitro group‐containing volatile compounds, a quenching effect was observed for DAMI@MOF, while the non‐nitro compounds chlorobenzene, toluene, and benzene yielded a fluorescence enhancement, rationalized by the relative energies of the derivative 8‐(dimethylamino)‐10‐methylisoalloxazine (DAMI) and analyte S1 states, with concomitant opposite ...

Peregrine breathers as design waves for wave-structure interaction
This paper introduces the Peregrine breather solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger-type equation as an innovative design wave. The major benefits are the potential to generate abnormal waves of certain frequency up to physically possible wave heights, the symmetrical abnormal wave shape and the availability of an analytical solution.

Numerical study of nonlinear Peregrine breather under finite water depth
Ocean Engineering, 2015Abstract Though the focusing method can effectively generate waves which satisfy the definition of rogue waves at a specific position and moment, however, being inherently not nonlinear, the focusing model is still a controversial rogue wave generation method.

Six-parameters deformations of fourth order Peregrine breather solutions of the NLS equation.
We construct solutions of the focusing NLS equation as a quotient of two determinants. This formulation gives in the case of the order 4, new deformations of the Peregrine breather with 6 real parameters. We construct families of quasi-rational solutions of the NLS equation and describe the apparition of multi rogue waves.

Eighth Peregrine breather solution of the NLS equation and multi-rogue waves
This is a continuation of a paper in which we present a new representation of solutions of the focusing NLS equation as a quotient of two determinants. This work was based on a recent paper in which we had constructed a multi-parametric family of this equation in terms of wronskians. \\ Here we give a more compact formulation without limit.

Determinant representation of NLS equation, Ninth Peregrine breather and multi-rogue waves
This article is a continuation of a recent paper on the solutions of the focusing NLS equation. The representation in terms of a quotient of two determinants gives a very efficient method of determination of famous Peregrine breathers and its deformations.

Results of experiments on the evolution of the Peregrine breather (PB) in a wave tank are presented and compared with numerical simulations based on the Nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) and the Dysthe equations. The experiments demonstrate notable deviation from the NLS solution due to significant asymmetric widening of the spectrum.
