Perfectly Matched Layers on Cubic Domains for Pauli’s Equations

open access: yesAnnales de la Faculté des sciences de Toulouse : Mathématiques
This article proves the wellposedness of the boundary value problem that arises when PML algorithms are applied to Pauli’s equations with a three dimensional rectangle as computational domain. The absorptions are positive near the boundary and zero far from the boundary so are always x-dependent.

2D Efficient Unconditionally Stable Meshless FDTD Algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2016
This paper presents an efficient weighted Laguerre polynomials based meshless finite-difference time domain (WLP-MFDTD). By decomposing the coefficients of the system matrix and adding a perturbation term, a factorization-splitting scheme is introduced ...

Design and optimization of photonic crystal fiber based sensor for gas condensate and air pollution monitoring

open access: yesPhotonic Sensors, 2017
In this paper, a hexagonal shape photonic crystal fiber (H-PCF) has been proposed as a gas sensor of which both micro-structured core and cladding are organized by circular air cavities.

Numerical Simulation of Elastic Wave in Frequency Domain Based on Generalized Finite Difference Method With a Multiaxial Convolutional Perfectly Matched Layer Boundary

open access: yesIEEE Access
The meshless generalized finite difference method (GFDM) was used to simulate elastic wave propagation in the frequency domain. Dispersion analysis and numerical experiments were conducted to evaluate its performance.

Characterization of the Specific Absorption Rate of the Cell Phone in the Human Head, Using the LN-FDTD Method

open access: yesITEGAM-JETIA, 2015
In this work we show how the study of the absorption of electromagnetic energy will be approached in biological tissues of the human head, originating from cell phones in a 900MHz band, and the development of a program to calculate the Specific ...
