A perfectness concept for multicriteria games

open access: yes
This paper considers a refinement of equilibria for multicriteria games based on the perfectness concept of Selten (1975). Existence of perfect equilibrium points is shown and several characterizations are provided.

Oxidized MoS2‐Based Multifunctional Memristive Hardware for Energy‐Efficient mmWave Signal Processing and In‐Memory Matrix Multiplication

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Thermally oxidized MoS2‐based radio‐frequency switches enable a multifunctional platform that unifies broadband RF switching and in‐memory computation. The device achieves a cutoff frequency of 33.2 THz with high energy efficiency and supports hardware‐aware signal processing.

Multifunctional Gold Nanocluster‐Based PROTAC System for Targeted Degradation of Phosphorylated Tau and Modulation of Neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a novel proteolysis‐targeting chimera (PROTAC) system conjugated to lipoic acid gold nanoclusters (PLANC), designed to degrade pTau, regulate inflammatory signaling, and effectively traverse the blood‐brain barrier (BBB). PLANC degraded pTau at various phosphorylation sites, with mechanistic studies confirming proteasome‐mediated degradation

Straining for Perfection

open access: yesJournal of the American College of Cardiology, 2011
The hunt for optimal approaches to assessment of myocardial performance has been longstanding. However, assessment of segmental myocardial function lagged for decades and was largely qualitative and subjective, on the basis of endocardial excursion or wall thickening, not quantitative ...

Twin Crystal Moiré Metasurfaces for Crossing Flat‐Band Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces twin crystal moiré metasurfaces, breaking in‐plane symmetry to enable reconfigurable acoustic wave manipulation. By adjusting the twin angle and interlayer twist angle, various combinations of hyperbolic, flat bands, and elliptic states can be synthesized in the system.

On projective covers of semimodules and perfect semirings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We consider two natural concepts of perfectness in a semiring context: the perfectness in terms of projective covers, and the perfectness in Bass's sense. For both cases we show that the class of right (left) perfect semirings coincides with the class of

Bioinspired Mechanically Robust Organic–Inorganic Hybridized Bio‐Adhesives With up to 50% Inorganic Components by Bi‐Continuous Phase Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A robust plant protein adhesive was prepared by fabricating a bi‐continuous organic–inorganic hybrid structure. Compared with traditional organic–inorganic hybrid adhesives, the addition amount of inorganic phase is increased from 0.2%–3.0% to 50%, and the strength and toughness are increased by 6 and 121 times, respectively.
