SEMS contributed to comparable outcomes including postoperative complications, mortality, and long‐term outcomes, but significantly reduced SSI. Health‐related quality of life following total minimally invasive, hybrid minimally invasive or open oesophagectomy: a population‐based cohort study

All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.

Multiple Sampling Capsule Robot for Studying Gut Microbiome

A multiple sampling capsule robot (MSCR) is developed for longitudinal gut microbiome analysis. Employing electromagnetic field control, the MSCR can locomote actively, precisely align the selected channel, and collect up to six microbiome samples with minimal cross‐contamination.

Deep Learning‐Coupled Metabolic Heat Integrated Sensing System for Noninvasive Continuous Monitoring of Blood Glucose

A portable, wearable device based on metabolic heat integrated sensing and deep learning enables continuous blood glucose (BG) monitoring. The system uses a gate recurrent unit model for real‐time BG prediction, achieving accuracy comparable to commercial noninvasive meters.
