Performance experiments for the performance course

This paper describes a newly instituted laboratory in the Computer Science Department at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The reasons for developing the laboratory are delineated. The equipment is then described. This is followed by a brief description of initial experience with the laboratory.
