Entre mouvement et ancrages : les spatialités d’artistes mobiles

open access: yesBelgeo, 2015
What do the Rolling Stones’ worldwide tours and a visual artist who is coming to settle in a gentrified place of a cultural capital such as Berlin have in common? This question led us to think artistic mobility with a broad sense, taking into account the

Philosophy and the visual arts: Illustration and performance

open access: yesHuman Affairs, 2021
Abstract In this paper I distinguish between illustrative and performative uses of artworks in the teaching and communication of philosophy, drawing examples from the history of art and my own practice. The former are where works are used merely to illustrate and communicate a philosophical idea or argument, the latter are where the ...

4D Printing of Self‐Immolative Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The integration of self‐immolative polymers (SIPs) into light‐based 3D printed structures is presented as a new “living” 4D printing strategy. By exploiting their metastability and stimuli‐responsiveness, SIP‐containing printed objects can undergo rapid and triggered degrowth under ambient conditions and subsequent regrowth through polymer ...

Chiral SURMOFs for Vibrational Circular Dichroism: Multiscale Modeling and Experimental Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The use of solid‐state vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) for MOFs is still somewhat unexplored, and in this work, it is shown that chiral surface‐anchored MOFs (SURMOFs) grown on CaF2 provide an excellent platform for VCD. Experimental results are validated through multiscale modeling, showing strong agreement across multiple spectroscopic ...

Charge Injection for Polarization Screening at Electrode Interfaces and the Antiferroelectric Double Hysteresis Loop of La‐Doped Pb(Zr,Sn,Ti)O3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Screening of the bound polarization charges of ferroelectrics at electrode interfaces is accommodated either by electrode charges or by charge injection. By means of X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy with in‐situ polarization reversal, it is demonstrated that screening charges at antiferroelectric La‐doped Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 are injected, while they remain at ...

Particle Size Matters – Impact of Particle Size and Crucible Geometry on Sublimation Behavior of Formamidinium Iodide

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
FAI precursor particle size and sublimation crucible geometry critically determine vapor flux directionality and deposition uniformity in thermal sublimation processes. Conical crucibles exhibit particle‐size‐dependent beam focusing, while cylindrical crucibles show a much more homogeneous deposition due to de‐focusing effects of the emitted vapor flux.
