Influence of axial length of normal eyes on PERG
Documenta Ophthalmologica, 2003The influence of the axial length (AL) of the eye on flash electroretinogram (ERG) responses has been well established in the literature, suggesting an association between ERG abnormalities with myopia (AL > 25 mm). The aim of our present study was to determine whether the AL of normal eyes can also influence the pattern electroretinogram (PERG) on ...

PERG is a pattern matching engine designed for locating pre-defined byte string patterns (rules) from the ClamAV virus signature database in a data stream. This paper presents PERG-Rx, an extension of PERG that adds limited regular expression support for wildcard patterns used by rules that represent polymorphic viruses.

The Pattern Electroretinogram (PERG) in Ocular Hypertension and Glaucoma
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1988Studies of normal subjects and of patients with optic nerve disorders suggest that one of the components of the pattern electroretinogram (PERG), the second negative wave, is related to optic nerve function and appears to be diminished even when the condition is relatively mild, with little alteration of visual acuity. It is known that significant loss

Utility of the color pattern-electroretinogram (PERG) in glaucoma
Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, 1993Pattern-onset electroretinograms (PERGs) with red-green color contrast (CC) and green-"black" luminance contrast (LC) stripe patterns (0.3 c/deg) were recorded in a group of 80 control subjects and in a group of 42 patients having glaucomas of varying etiology and severity.

The pattern electroretinogram (PERG) with contralateral corneal reference
Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, 2001Summary The pattern electroretinogram (PERG) is a sensitive test for investigation of the proximal retina. For monocular recording, the contralateral corneal reference (CCR) electrode position has been suggested as a possible alternative to the conventional ipsilateral temporal reference (ITR).
