Peri-partum symphysiolysis (PPS) is a rare but severe complication of vaginal delivery. The incidence of PPS in Denmark, with approximately 60,000 births per year, was estimated to be 0.5. This case report presents a 29-year-old, healthy female who suffered from symphysiolysis with diastasis of 25 mm after vaginal birth.
