Perianal rhabdomyosarcoma in a dog

Following two incomplete surgical excisions of the tumour, the dog was treated by means of surgery combined with local radiotherapy and systemic chemotherapy using one cycle of vincristine sulphate, doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide (VAC protocol). Evaluation must include a thorough history, which should emphasize hygienic habits, use of topical and oral medications, and a review of systems with particular attention to gastrointestinal symptoms.
