Left Main PCI During Cardiac Arrest With Ongoing Lucas CPR
ABSTRACT Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) during cardiac arrest presents significant procedural challenges, particularly due to poor imaging and hemodynamic instability. We present the case of a 75‐year‐old man with worsening angina despite optimal medical therapy, who underwent PCI of the left anterior descending (LAD) artery.

ABSTRACT Background For over a decade, transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TF‐TAVR) have been performed at the University Hospital of Nancy. A minimalistic approach to TF‐TAVR, conducted without general anesthesia and entirely percutaneously in a catheterization suite (simplified approach), has been reported to be as safe and ...

Case Report: The phantom gap: a case of congenital pericardial absence revealed by advanced imaging
Congenital absence of the pericardium (CAP) is a rare cardiac anomaly with an estimated prevalence of <1:10,000. CAP results from premature atrophy of the left common cardinal vein during embryogenesis, leading to pericardial defects.

Pericardium: structure and function in health and disease.
Normal pericardium consists of an outer sac called fibrous pericardium and an inner one called serous pericardium. The two layers of serous pericardium: visceral and parietal are separated by the pericardial cavity, which contains 20 to 60 mL of the ...

Lineage labeling with zebrafish hand2 Cre and CreERT2 recombinase CRISPR knock‐ins
Abstract Background The ability to generate endogenous Cre recombinase drivers using CRISPR‐Cas9 knock‐in technology allows lineage tracing, cell type‐specific gene studies, and in vivo validation of inferred developmental trajectories from phenotypic and gene expression analyses. This report describes endogenous zebrafish hand2 Cre and CreERT2 drivers

Abstract Background Mutations in cohesins cause cohesinopathies such as Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) and Roberts Syndrome (RBS). Prior findings demonstrate that Esco2 (a cohesin activator) and Smc3 (a core cohesin subunit) regulate the CRL4 E3 ubiquitin ligase. SMC3 mutations, however, account for a small percentage of CdLS.

Abstract Lessons Learned Osimertinib has confirmed effectiveness in this real‐world population of patients with EGFR‐mutant advanced non‐small cell lung cancer. Thromboembolic events occur more frequently than previously reported, suggesting a thrombotic diathesis that requires further investigation. Patients with at least three metastatic sites, brain
