Comparative evaluation of oculokinetic perimetry and conventional perimetry in glaucoma. [PDF]
Oculokinetic perimetry is a new method of visual field assessment in which the patient moves the eye around a central static target to look sequentially at an array of numbers. When fixation on a number is accompanied by disappearance of the central target, that number is deleted from a recording chart.

Flicker defined form and RareBit measurements lack in specificity of visual pathways [PDF]
"AIM: To evaluate the different visual pathways represented by the Heidelberg Engineering Perimeter flicker defined form and RareBit (magnocellular and parvocellular respectively) in different age-groups and according to the fatigue. METHODS: Totally 64

Standard automated perimetry (SAP) is the gold standard for evaluating the presence of visual field defects (VFDs). Nevertheless, it has requirements such as prolonged attention, stable fixation, and a need for a motor response that limit application in ...

Retinal Nerve Fibre Layer and Ganglion Cell Complex Measurement and their Correlation with Visual Field Changes among Glaucoma Patients [PDF]
Introduction: Glaucoma is an optic neuropathy that causes loss of Retinal Ganglion Cell (RGC) and changes in the visual field. The loss in RGC is determined by Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), and visual field defects are evaluated with perimetry.

Background: Neurological conditions frequently cause visual field loss, commonly resulting in perimetry requests for suspected or known conditions. Currently there are no national guidelines for perimetry in neurological conditions.

Gaze-contingent flicker pupil perimetry detects scotomas in patients with cerebral visual impairments or glaucoma [PDF]
The pupillary light reflex is weaker for stimuli presented inside as compared to outside absolute scotomas. Pupillograph perimetry could thus be an objective measure of impaired visual processing.

Study of Optimal Perimetric Testing In Children (OPTIC): Normative visual field values in children [PDF]
Purpose: We sought to define normative visual field (VF) values for children using common clinical test protocols for kinetic and static perimetry. Design: Prospective, observational study.

Does eye examination order for standard automated perimetry matter? [PDF]
PURPOSE: In spite of faster examination procedures, visual field (VF) results are potentially influenced by fatigue. We use large-scale VF data collected from clinics to test the hypothesis that perimetric fatigue effects are greater in the eye examined ...
