CD9‐association with PIP2 areas is regulated by a CD9 salt bridge
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.The tetraspanin CD9 has an intracellular salt bridge. If CD9 opens, open‐CD9 moves from PIP2‐rich areas to regions populated by its interaction partner EWI‐2. Hence, the state of the salt bridge regulates the distribution of CD9 and by this CD9‐EWI‐2 complex formation.

Topics on periodic solutions to integro-differential equations
, 2020 This Master's Degree Thesis investigates periodic solutions to nonlinear equations involving integro-dierential operators. We show the existence and we describe these solutions for generalized Benjamin-Ono type nonlinearities, using a variational formulation and a constrained minimization argument.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Patch‐clamp recordings revealed that tamoxifen inhibits voltage‐gated sodium channels, especially under acidic conditions, both common in metastatic cancer cells. These effects may explain certain antitumor properties of tamoxifen, highlighting a novel mechanism of action beyond its known endocrine effects.
