Ligand‐Based CAR‐T Cells Targeting EGFR Exhibit Favorable Antitumor Effects Against Gynecologic Malignancies

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Wide variety of gynecologic malignancies express EGFR at high rates. Memory‐rich EGFR CAR‐T cells can be made by piggyBac‐mediated gene transfer with immature dendritic cells and EGFR protein. Ligand‐based EGFR CAR‐T cells have robust antitumor effects against gynecologic malignancies in vivo and in vitro.

Ovarian Endometrioma Disrupts Oocyte‐Cumulus Communication and Mitochondrial Function, With Melatonin Mitigating the Effects

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 58, Issue 4, April 2025.
Diagram illustrating the impact of OEM on oocyte‐cumulus communication, showing reduced TZPs, mitochondrial dysfunction, increased oxidative stress, DNA damage, and apoptosis. Melatonin (MLT) treatment improves communication, enhances mitochondrial function, reduces DNA damage, and restores oocyte quality, offering insights into potential therapeutic ...

Stroke‐Homing Peptide‐DNase1 Alleviates Intestinal Ischemia Reperfusion Injury by Selectively Degrading Neutrophil Extracellular Traps

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
SHp‐DNase1 combined with CRO inhibits NETs to alleviate intestinal IRI ABSTRACT Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) act as a vital first line of defence against tissue damage and pathogens, playing a significant role in improving diseases such as intestinal ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI).

Ezh2 Regulates Early Astrocyte Morphogenesis and Influences the Coverage of Astrocytic Endfeet on the Vasculature

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Ezh2‐deficient astrocytes showed morphologically more slender but sparse dendrites, resulting in reduced endfoot coverage and also causing disruption of the blood–brain barrier. ABSTRACT Astrocytes are crucial for central nervous system (CNS) development and function, with their differentiation being stringently controlled by epigenetic mechanisms ...
