Peritoneal mesothelioma

Human Pathology, 1977
The cytohistology in 82 cases diagnosed as malignant peritoneal mesothelioma was correlated with available clinical and gross pathologic information. The cases were then evaluated as to ceratainty of diagnosis. The material had come from a large number of sources, most of it having been traced by a history of occupational exposure to asbestos.

[Peritoneal mesothelioma].

Chirurgie; memoires de l'Academie de chirurgie, 1991
On the basis of 5 personal cases with illustrations and a review of the literature, the authors emphasize the clinicopathological features of peritoneal mesotheliomas, rare primary tumors for which the histological diagnosis is often difficult. The classical evidence by contact with asbestos fibers is obtained in every second case only.
