This study explores the physiomechanical and durability properties of C‐25 concrete by partially replacing cement with blends of pumice powder (PP) and bamboo leaf ash (BLA). The combined amount of major oxides SiO2, Al2O3, and Fe2O3 in PP is 84.59%, while in BLA, it is 74.4%, classifying PP and BLA as class N and F pozzolans.

Iceberg Scour and Shell Damage in the Antarctic Bivalve Laternula elliptica [PDF]
We document differences in shell damage and shell thickness in a bivalve mollusc (Laternula elliptica) from seven sites around Antarctica with differing exposures to ice movement. These range from 60% of the sea bed impacted by ice per year (Hangar Cove,

OPTIMISATION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF PERIWINKLE SHELL AGGREGATE CONCRETE [PDF]
In this paper, a regression model is developed to predict and optimise the compressive strength of periwinkle shell aggregate concrete using Scheffe’s regression theory.

Compressive Strength and Static Modulus of Elasticity of Periwinkle Shell Ash Blended Cement Concrete [PDF]
The study examined the effect of periwinkle shell ash as supplementary cementitious material on the compressive strength and static modulus of elasticity of concrete with a view to comparing it’s established relation with an existing model.
