Non-linear MPC for winding loss optimised torque control of anisotropic PMSM
For a non-linear anisotropic permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM), a prediction model for model predictive control (MPC) considering effects like cross-coupling and saturation is developed in a straight forward procedure.

Analytical and experimental study for characteristic analysis of permanent magnet linear synchronous machines with horizontally magnetized PMs [PDF]
This paper deals with analytical and experimental study of permanent magnet linear synchronous machines with horizontally magnetized permanent magnets. Six subdomains are defined as analysis domains considering end effects, slotting effects, and flux pass iron poles.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.
