Pacemaker-associated cyanosis in an adolescent : the answer hiding behind shadows [PDF]
Lead thrombosis is a recognized complication of permanent transvenous pacemaker (PM) implantation. We present the interesting case of an adolescent with a dual-chamber PM presenting with fatigue and hypoxemia.

In total, 5084 patients from Swedish registries with both heart failure (HF) with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) were included. Confounding was handled by overlap weighting based on propensity scores for beta‐blocker use. Patients were followed up for 5 years, or until death, emigration from Sweden or

A novel biopolymer electrolyte using sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol and NaPF6 enhances ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability for electric double‐layer capacitors. Conductivity peaks at 35 wt% salt before declining due to ion clustering. Structural and electrochemical analyses confirm promising device performance.

What's New? Circadian rhythm disruption potentially fuels prostate cancer progression. The mechanisms and signaling molecules contributing to hormonal tumorigenesis, however, remain largely undefined. In this study, circadian expression patterns of core‐circadian controlled genes (CCCGs) and nuclear receptors (NRs) were investigated in advanced ...
