Pathology - Research and Practice, 1981Summary Cryostat sections of unfixed, intraoperative tissue samples constitute the optimum technique available at present for preparation of rapid sections. Evaluation can be improved by our staining method. Nuclear staining is performed with toluidine blue, counterstaining with eosin.
