The Expected Characteristic and Permanental Polynomials of the Random Gram Matrix [PDF]
A $t \times n$ random matrix $A$ can be formed by sampling $n$ independent random column vectors, each containing $t$ components. The random Gram matrix of size $n$, $G_{n}=A^{T}A$, contains the dot products between all pairs of column vectors in the randomly generated matrix $A$, and has characteristic roots coinciding with the singular values of $A$.

Extremal Bicyclic Graphs with Respect to Permanental Sums and Hosoya Indices
Graph polynomials is one of the important research directions in mathematical chemistry. The coefficients of some graph polynomials, such as matching polynomial and permanental polynomial, are related to structural properties of graphs.

Permanental Polynomial Identities on Matrix Rings
Let \(\Gamma\) be a directed graph, \(V\) the set of vertices, \(e_ 1,\dots,e_ N\) the set of edges of \(\Gamma\). Let \(\Phi_ +(v)\) (resp. \(\Phi_ -(v)\)) be the number of the edges starting (resp. ending) in \(v\). \(\Gamma\) is called Eulerian if \(\Phi_ +(v) = \Phi_ -(v)\) for all \(v\in V\).

MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Cell shape analysis of random tessellations based on Minkowski tensors
To which degree are shape indices of individual cells of a tessellation characteristic for the stochastic process that generates them? Within the context of stochastic geometry and the physics of disordered materials, this corresponds to the question of ...

Limit theory for geometric statistics of point processes having fast decay of correlations
Let $P$ be a simple, stationary point process having fast decay of correlations, i.e., its correlation functions factorize up to an additive error decaying faster than any power of the separation distance.

Reconfigurable Acoustofluidic Microvortices for Selective Microcargo Delivery
This work introduces a frequency‐encoded, reconfigurable acoustofluidic system that overcomes the low throughput and poor selectivity of conventional micro‐delivery methods. By exploiting discrete microbubble resonances to program adaptive microvortex modes, the platform enables real‐time switching and selective guidance of microscale payloads through ...

Classical deterministic complexity of Edmonds' problem and Quantum Entanglement
This paper continues research initiated in quant-ph/0201022 . The main subject here is the so-called Edmonds' problem of deciding if a given linear subspace of square matrices contains a nonsingular matrix .
