Ambipolar Charge Transport in Perovskite CsPbBr3 γ‐Ray Detectors with Superior Uniformity and Spectral Resolution by Zone Refining Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zone refining processing has been proposed to achieve ultrahigh purity level in perovskite CsPbBr3 crystals, enabling ambipolar charge transport by enhancing the electron transport properties, thereby resulting in better γ‐ray detector performance with exceptional uniformity and reproducibility.

Multifunctional Infrared Polarizer Based on Aligned Growth of High‐Density Boron Nitride Nanotubes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper presents a novel method for the high‐density, aligned growth synthesis and purification of boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs). The polarization sensitivity and linear dichroism characteristics of BNNTs in the near‐infrared and mid‐infrared bands are comprehensively verified.

Spontaneous Strain‐Spin Transition Coupling Molecular Crystal with Thermal Magnetic Memory Effect, Anisotropic High‐κ and Switchable Dielectric Permittivity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A radical salt undergoes a paraelastic‐ferroelastic phase transition, which is coupled with spin‐Peierls transition, resulting in it integrating self‐strain, spin bistability, switchable dielectric and high‐ properties. Abstract Materials that exhibit controllable changes in electrical, magnetic, or spontaneous strain properties, particularly those ...

VOx‐Based Non‐Volatile Radio‐Frequency Switches for Reconfigurable Filter

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vanadium oxide‐based memristor devices achieve high performance for next‐generation non‐volatile memory and RF switches. These devices demonstrate a cutoff frequency of ≈4.5 THz, low insertion loss (<0.46 dB), and high isolation (>20 dB) from 0.1 to 20 GHz with stable operation extended to 67 GHz.

Unusual Thermal Transport in Few‐Layer Van der Waals Antiferromagnet CrOCl

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Thermal transport serves as an ultra‐sensitive probe for detecting the magnetic order in 2D materials. Using the suspended thermal bridge method enhanced by Wheatstone bridges, it is, for the first time, observed anomalous critical behavior in few‐layer CrOCl near its Néel temperature.

Mechanistic Insights into the Structural Evolution of ZIF‐67 via Electrospinning Strategy Toward High Electromagnetic Wave Absorption Performance of ZIF‐67‐Derived Carbon Nanofibers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
With 5G and AI robotics rising, electromagnetic radiation risks signal security and health. This work investigates the electromagnetic wave absorption of Co/CNF composites via in situ and ex situ electrospinning strategies. The in situ synthesized sample exhibits superior absorption properties due to enhanced structural uniformity, improved Co ...

Phosphorus Vacancy‐Induced Built‐In Electric Field for Electromagnetic Properties Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The advantages of defect‐induced polarization resulting from group VA anion vacancies, particularly phosphorus vacancies (VP) are analyzed in comparison to the anion vacancies of other elements. P atoms possess both plentiful high‐energy unpaired valence electrons in 3p orbitals and moderate nonmetallicity, thus the selection of VP for regulating EM ...
