The permittivity – thickness relationship of a PMN (111) single crystal

open access: yesSt. Petersburg Polytechnical University Journal: Physics and Mathematics, 2023
In this work, the permittivity measurements of lead magnoniobate PMN (111) single crystals with thicknesses of 400 µm, 25 µm and 10 µm have been carried out at a frequency of 0.1 Hz.

Detection of physiological concentrations of GABA using dielectric spectroscopy - A pilot study

open access: yesJournal of Electrical Bioimpedance, 2023
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a major inhibitory neurotransmitter that is present at a relatively low level throughout the normal adult human brain. Abnormal GABA levels are found in people with neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s disease,

Effective Permittivity of a Statistically Inhomogeneous Medium with Strong Permittivity Fluctuations [PDF]

open access: yesProgress In Electromagnetics Research, 2004
Most previous multiple-scattering theories for electromagnetic waves in strongly fluctuating media are limited by the assumption of statistical homogeneity of media. In the paper, a lossy electrically isotropic random medium is considered whose mean permittivity distribution, as well as the multipoint permittivity's moments are invariant under ...

Quantum Monte Carlo study of static potential in graphene [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper the interaction potential between static charges in suspended graphene is studied within the quantum Monte Carlo approach. We calculated the dielectric permittivity of suspended graphene for the set of temperatures and extrapolated our ...
