Effect of modifiers on the barium niobate-calcium ceramics structure
In this work, the ceramic samples Са0,3Ba0,7Nb2O6 pure and with modifying additives (5%) SrTiO3, KTaO3 or LiTaO3 were obtained by solid-phase synthesis. All studied compositions of ceramics revealed the presence of large and small grains.

Dielectric properties of CaCu3Ti4O12 based multiphased ceramics [PDF]
A “soft chemistry” method, the coprecipitation, has been used to synthesize the perovskite CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCT). Three main types of materials were obtained for both powders and sintered ceramics: a monophased consisting of the pure CCT phase, a biphased ...

Low permittivity epoxy nanoporous composites filled with hollow nanosilica
An epoxy nanoporous composite (NPC) filled with hollow nanosilica exhibits lower permittivity than unfilled epoxy resin. The hollow nanosilica is a silica nanoparticle containing a nanometric closed pore.

Permittivity Extraction of Glucose Solutions Through Artificial Neural Networks and Non-invasive Microwave Glucose Sensing [PDF]
An accurate low-cost method is presented for measuring the complex permittivity of glucose/water solutions. Moreover, a compact non-invasive RF/microwave sensor is presented for glucose sensing with the reasoning behind design parameters as well as ...

Microwave dielectric properties of horticultural peat products [PDF]
The microwave dielectric properties of horticultural peat and compost peat were measured with a HP85107C network analyser in conjunction with a HP85070B open-ended coaxial dielectric probe for the frequency range 0.5–20 GHz.

Microwave Interferometry Based On Open-ended Coaxial Technique for High Sensitivity Liquid Sensing
This paper describes a modified open-ended coaxial technique for microwave dielectric characterization in liquid media. A calibration model is developed to relate the measured transmission coefficient to the local properties of the sample under test.

Processing Radargrams to Obtain Resistivity Sections
Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is routinely used to locate the isolated elements that produce reflection hyperbolas in radargrams. However, we propose a method in this study for locating the various interfaces appearing in a medium by studying the signal
