This article introduces a soft wearable eyelid sling device incorporating a hydraulic soft artificial muscle (SAM) for achieving complete closure of an eyelid. The SAM is driven by a cam mechanism that provides a displacement profile closely matched with those of a healthy eyelid.

Pak Biawak, a necrobot, embodies an unusual fusion of biology and robotics. Designed to repurpose natural structures after death, it challenges conventional boundaries between nature and engineering. Its movements are precise yet unsettling, raising questions about sustainability, ethics, and the untapped potential of biointegrated machines.

On 2-star-permutability in regular multi-pointed categories
2-star-permutable categories were introduced in a joint work with Z. Janelidze and A. Ursini as a common generalisation of regular Mal'tsev categories and of normal subtractive categories.

This study explores how information processing is distributed between brains and bodies through a codesign approach. Using the “backpropagation through soft body” framework, brain–body coupling agents are developed and analyzed across several tasks in which output is generated through the agents’ physical dynamics.

Permutability of fuzzy consequence operators and fuzzy interior operators
In this paper we study the permutability of the composition of fuzzy consequence operators (fuzzy closings) and fuzzy interior operators (fuzzy openings).

Efficient and Robust Standing Postures of Quadruped Robots
A calibrated static framework estimates load, optimizes torques, and adapts posture so quadruped robots stand efficiently and robustly under external payloads, achieving up to 50% lower torque demand. Inspired by the natural posture adjustments of animals under external loading, this article presents an optimization‐based framework for minimizing joint

The concept of separation of an ordered pair of permutations is introduced and a discrete analogue of Jordan curve theorem, based on this separation, is proved. As the author mentions, his result provides an elementary though somewhat involved proof of the original topological version of this theorem.

Some illustrative examples of permutability of fuzzy operators and fuzzy relations
Composition of fuzzy operators often appears and it is natural to ask when the order of composition does not change the result. In previous papers, we characterized permutability in the case of fuzzy consequence operators and fuzzy interior operators. We
