Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Key feature identification of internal kink mode using machine learning
The internal kink mode is one of the crucial factors affecting the stability of magnetically confined fusion devices. This paper explores the key features influencing the growth rate of internal kink modes using machine learning techniques such as Random

Attribute-based multi-keyword searchable encryption scheme based on counting Bloom filters
To address the problems of low retrieval efficiency of searchable encryption scheme under traditional public key cryptosystem, high storage overhead of keyword index, and index does not support dynamic update, based on the good space and time efficiency ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Summary The problem of generating random permutations of the integers 1, 2, …, n arises, for example, when sampling a randomization distribution and when tables of permutations are required for application to experimental design. An algorithm is described which minimizes the amount of randomization necessary to generate a random ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

On permutations and permutation polytopes [PDF]
An easy characterization is given of neighbors on permutation polytopes. Using this characterization it is shown that the graph of any such polytope is Hamiltonian, and that the diameter is two.
