Block Copolymers: Emerging Building Blocks for Additive Manufacturing
This review addresses how block copolymer (BCP) physics and rheology have led to the widespread use of BCPs in advanced additive manufacturing techniques, with particular emphasis on the untapped potential of these nanostructured materials toward achieving multi‐scale architected materials with unique, programmable material properties.

Ambipolar Solution-processed Hybrid Perovskite Phototransistors
Organolead halide perovskites have attracted substantial attention due to their excellent physical properties, which enable them to serve as the active material in emerging hybrid solid-state solar cells. Here we investigate the phototransistors based on

This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Material Exchange Property of Organo Lead Halide Perovskite with Hole-Transporting Materials
Using X-ray diffraction (XRD), it was confirmed that the deposition of hole-transporting materials (HTM) on a CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite layer changed the CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite crystal, which was due to the material exchanging phenomena between the ...

Rule-breaking perovskites [PDF]
A material from the perovskite family of semiconductors emits light much more efficiently than expected. The explanation for this anomalous behaviour could lead to improvements in light-emitting technology. First-principles study of epitaxial strain in perovskites
Using an extension of a first-principles method developed by King-Smith and Vanderbilt [Phys. Rev. B {\bf 49}, 5828 (1994)], we investigate the effects of in-plane epitaxial strain on the ground-state structure and polarization of eight perovskite oxides:

Surface Diffusion in SnTe‐PbTe Monolayer Lateral Heterostructures
The lateral heterostructures between 2D materials often suffer from the interdiffusion at the interfaces. Here, a surface diffusion mechanism is found to be dominating at the interfaces between semiconducting SnTe and PbTe monolayers. Atomically sharp interfaces can be achieved by suppressing this diffusion process. ABSTRACT The construction of complex

The properties and mechanism of the magnetic phase transition of the perovskite-type Ti oxides, which is driven by the Ti-O-Ti bond angle distortion, are studied theoretically by using the effective spin and pseudospin Hamiltonian with strong Coulomb ...

A novel approach for the design of functional semiconductors is presented, which utilizes the excellent optoelectronic properties of layered hybrid perovskites and the possibility to introduce a molecular photoswitch as the organic spacer. This concept is successfully demonstrated on a coumarin‐based system with the possibility to change the bandgap ...
