Total Oxidation of Hydrocarbons on Perovskite Oxides
Catalysis Reviews, 1992Abstract Perovskite-type oxides containing transition metals are attracting great attention as catalysts for complete oxidation of hydrocarbons as well as electrochemical reduction of oxygen (1). A s far as I know, the use of perovskite-type oxides as catalysts was first reported by Meadowcroft in 1970 (2) for the electrochemical reduction of oxygen ...

Ferroelectricity in Perovskite-Type Oxides
Ferroelectrics, 2008Ferroelectricity in perovskite-related oxides was briefly reviewed mainly from the view point of crystal chemistry. Tolerance factor, t, for perovsikte oxides clearly discriminates the dielectric properties of them, except for KTaO. B-site off-center and BO 6 tilting become dominant for t > 1 and t < 1, respectively. Only BaZrO 3 and SrTiO 3 sit on t =

Ferroelectric fatigue in perovskite oxides
Applied Physics Letters, 1995We find that the reduction of the switchable polarization in BaTiO3 crystals via repeated polarization reversals (fatigue) is accompanied by the trapping of electronic charge and atomic scale distortions in the perovskite oxygen octahedron. The distortions are proposed to involve oxygen vacancies.
