A Double Perovskite Single Crystal CsCuAgI3

Inorganic Chemistry
Eco-friendly halide double perovskites are attracting significant attention as potential substitutes for traditional lead-based halide perovskites. However, their typically wide or indirect band gap limits further technological advancement. This study presents a new, eco-friendly, all-inorganic millimeter-scale CsCuAgI3 single crystal (SC). The crystal

Photoluminescence of perovskite lanthanum aluminate single crystals

Journal of Applied Physics, 2000
Photoluminescence was observed from pure perovskite lanthanum aluminate (LaAlO3) single crystals grown with a floating-zone method in reduced atmosphere. Emission was composed of a fast ultraviolet (UV) component and a broad visible emission with a lifetime of 13 μs. From the lifetime measurement, absorption spectra, excitation spectrum, and comparison

Study of Perovskite Single Crystals for Optoelectronic Applications

2022
The excellent optoelectronic properties of perovskites have made them promising candidates for many optoelectronic devices, but it remains a challenge to achieve the controlled fabrication of single crystalline perovskite materials including the synthesis of phase pure composition, the modification of structure, and the controlling of morphology.

Colour centre-free perovskite single crystals

Journal of Luminescence, 2009
Abstract Yb3+:YAlO3 (YAP) and Yb3+:GdAlO3 (GAP) are interesting 1 μm high-power laser media thanks to their very good thermo-mechanical properties. However, as-grown perovskite single crystals exhibit colour centres. Parasitic thermal load generated by these centres is deleterious for high-power laser action and can lead to crystal damages.

Anisotropic Photonics with Single-Crystal Halide Perovskites

Advanced Photonics Congress 2023, 2023
In spite of recent advances in the field, the achievement of continuous tunability of optical anisotropy remains an outstanding challenge. Here, we present a solution to the problem through the chemical alteration of halogen atoms in single-crystal halide perovskites.

Cathodoluminescence of MAPbCl3 Halide Perovskite Single Crystal

The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters
Chloride perovskites are semiconductors with a near-ultraviolet bandgap that are promising for applications in optoelectronics and photonics. One of the most studied representatives of this family is the methylammonium lead chloride MAPbCl3 (MA+ = CH3NH3+).
