A Double Perovskite Single Crystal CsCuAgI3
Inorganic ChemistryEco-friendly halide double perovskites are attracting significant attention as potential substitutes for traditional lead-based halide perovskites. However, their typically wide or indirect band gap limits further technological advancement. This study presents a new, eco-friendly, all-inorganic millimeter-scale CsCuAgI3 single crystal (SC). The crystal

Single crystal growth, magnetic and thermal properties of perovskite YFe0.6Mn0.4O3 single crystal
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2016High quality YFe0.6Mn0.4O3 single crystal was grown by floating zone technique using a four-mirror-image-furnace under flowing air. Powder X-ray diffraction gives well evidence that the specimen has an orthorhombic structure, with space group Pbnm. Temperature dependence of the magnetizations of YFe0.6Mn0.4O3 single crystal were studied under ZFC and ...

Hetero-structure of hybrid perovskite single crystals
2017 Opto-Electronics and Communications Conference (OECC) and Photonics Global Conference (PGC), 2017We report the evolution of photoluminescence (PL) from methylammonium lead halide perovskite hetero-structures. Single crystal hetero-structures were grown with different halide composition, growth solution concentration and growth time. The behavior of PL spectra was analyzed with contributions from the different hetero-structure layers.

Photoluminescence of perovskite lanthanum aluminate single crystals
Journal of Applied Physics, 2000Photoluminescence was observed from pure perovskite lanthanum aluminate (LaAlO3) single crystals grown with a floating-zone method in reduced atmosphere. Emission was composed of a fast ultraviolet (UV) component and a broad visible emission with a lifetime of 13 μs. From the lifetime measurement, absorption spectra, excitation spectrum, and comparison
