Auxeticity‐by‐Assembly: Interlocking Modular Auxetic Metamaterials with Selectively Activatable AgNW–Graphene Oxide‐EGaIn Composite Interconnects for Scalable Freeform Photovoltaic Modules

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Auxeticity‑by‑Assembly converts freeform photovoltaics from cut‑defined layouts to assembly‑defined systems. Standardized interlocking units generate negative‑Poisson‑ratio, reconfigurable architectures, while hinge regions are wired by selectively activatable AgNW–GO@EGaIn composite interconnects and a folding‑enabled interconnector layer. A decimeter‑

A comprehensive device modeling of organic-inorganic hybrid CH3NH3GeI3 based perovskite solar cell

open access: yesResults in Materials
Organic-inorganic lead-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have emerged as a promising and rapidly evolving photovoltaic technology in recent years. However, the use of high-toxic lead material in PSC is incompatible with the 12th sustainable development

Investigation of Halogen Substitution Effects in π‐Conjugated Organic Ligands of Chiral Hybrid Perovskites on Their Chiroptical Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The role of novel thiophene‐based ligands with halogen substitutions in enhancing the chiroptical and optoelectronic properties of 2D chiral HOIPs has been investigated. By tailoring ligand design, enhanced CD and CPL properties are achieved, with improved CPL discrimination in photodetectors.

Theoretical Design for the Non-Toxic and Earth-Abundant Perovskite Solar Cell Absorber Materials

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2020
Though perovskite solar cells have good prospects, they also have some disadvantages, especially the impact of Pb on the environment and the use of expensive elements, which makes their production difficult to industrialize. Using first-principle density

Furan‐Substituted Phosphine‐Oxide as an Efficient Interfacial Modifier for Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report phosphine‐oxide interlayers for wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells, in which tuned P = O Lewis basicity enables selective passivation of buried NiOx/perovskite interfaces and introduces interfacial dipoles that strengthen the built‐in field.

Room Temperature Nanoparticulate Interfacial Layers for Perovskite Solar Cells via solvothermal synthesis

open access: yes, 2017
We present a solvothermal synthetic route to produce monodispersed CuO nanoparticles (NPs) in the range of 5-10 nm that can be used as hole selective interfacial layer between indium tin oxide (ITO) and perovskite active layer for p-i-n perovskite solar ...

Cross‐Layer Molecular Design for Coherent Interface Passivation in Rigid and Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A cross‐layer passivation strategy employing molecularly designed thiazol‐5‐ylmethanamine hydrochloride (TMACl) enables coherent defect regulation at the SnO2/perovskite interface, stabilizes both layers, promotes phase‐pure α‐FAPbI3 formation, and enhances charge extraction, delivering PCEs of 26.44% in rigid and 24.72% in flexible perovskite solar ...
