The structural complexity of perovskites

Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2022
Information theory is used to calculate structural complexities of various perovskite-type materials, showing that complexity scales with the size of the pseudocubic ReO3-type [BX3]n− network and available distortion schemes.

Artemisinin (ART)-Induced “perovskite/perovskite” bilayer structured photovoltaics

Nano Energy, 2020
Abstract Halide perovskites have attracted significant attention due to their high photovoltaic (PV) performance. The transition of perovskite PVs into practical applications will require significantly higher reliability while maintaining high efficiency. Here we provide breakthroughs in achieving this goal of enhanced efficiency and reliability.

Tilting structures in perovskites

Crystallography Reports, 2004
Thirty five low-symmetry tilting phases of the octahedra in which the atoms located at the initial octahedral position remain equivalent are derived for the perovskite structure at the k 10(X), k 11(M), and k 13(R) points of the Brillouin zone.

Electronic structure of perovskite-type compounds

Physical Review B, 1990

Structure‐Tuned Lead Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals

Advanced Materials, 2015
Colloidally stable suspensions of lead halide perovskite nanocrystals are prepared from high-quality lead halide nanocrystal seeds. Perovskite nanocrystals with different layered crystal structures are reported. These systems are well suited for investigations of the intrinsic photophysics and spectroscopy of organic-inorganic metal halide perovskites.

Elasticity of CaIrO3 with perovskite and post-perovskite structure

Physics and Chemistry of Minerals, 2010
Compression behaviors of CaIrO3 with perovskite (Pv) and post-perovskite (pPv) structures have been investigated up to 31.0(1.0) and 35.3(1) GPa at room temperature, respectively, in a diamond-anvil cell with hydrostatic pressure media. CaIrO3 Pv and pPv phases were compressed with the axial compressibility of β a > β

Methane combustion on perovskites-based structured catalysts

Catalysis Today, 2000
Abstract LaMnO 3 perovskites supported on La stabilised γ-Al 2 O 3 and MgO have been prepared and characterised as methane combustion catalysts. XRD analysis, BET surface area results and H 2 TPR measurements have all revealed the presence of significant interaction between the perovskite and the alumina based support, which becomes very strong ...

Nuclear ferromagnetism in a perovskite structure

Physical Review Letters, 1991
Ferromagnetism of $^{19}\mathrm{F}$ nuclear spins in a monocrystalline ${\mathrm{KMgF}}_{3}$ sample has been observed by NMR in the presence of a high magnetic field and in the microkelvin temperature range. The three $^{19}\mathrm{F}$ spins of one crystalline cell are equivalent when the field is along the [111] axis of the crystal and inequivalent ...
