Perovskite Metamaterials

Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 2016
We report the first dielectric metamaterials nanostructured from solution-processed organolead halide perovskite thin films. Metamaterials exhibit strong resonances tunable by design across the visible spectrum, aiming applications in enhanced photovoltaics and light-emitting devices.

From Lead Halide Perovskites to Lead‐Free Metal Halide Perovskites and Perovskite Derivatives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, 2019
AbstractDespite the exciting progress on power conversion efficiencies, the commercialization of the emerging lead (Pb) halide perovskite solar cell technology still faces significant challenges, one of which is the inclusion of toxic Pb. Searching for Pb‐free perovskite solar cell absorbers is currently an attractive research direction. The approaches

Perovskite–Perovskite Homojunctions via Compositional Doping

The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, 2018
One of the most important properties of semiconductors is the possibility of controlling their electronic behavior via intentional doping. Despite the unprecedented progress in the understanding of hybrid metal halide perovskites, extrinsic doping of perovskite remains nearly unexplored and perovskite-perovskite homojunctions have not been reported ...

Perovskite

Geology Today, 2020
How many people, even those interested in the Earth sciences, have heard of perovskite? Yet minerals with the perovskite structure are the most abundant minerals on the Earth with a corresponding importance for our understanding of the origin, development and functioning of our planet.
