d0 Ferromagnetic Interface Between Non-magnetic Perovskites [PDF]
We use computational and experimental methods to study d0 ferromagnetism at a charge- imbalanced interface between two perovskites. In SrTiO3/KTaO3 superlattice calculations, the charge imbalance introduces holes in the SrTiO3 layer, inducing a d0 ...

Chiral-perovskite optoelectronics [PDF]
Hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) offer long carrier-diffusion lengths, high absorption coefficients, tunable band gaps and long spin lifetimes. The flexible crystal structure and ionic nature of HOIPs make it possible to allow tuning of their material properties through rational design, including the incorporation of chiral organic ligands.

High-pressure/high-temperature synthesis of transition metal oxide perovskites [PDF]
Perovskite and related Ruddlesden-Popper type transition metal oxides synthesised at high pressures and temperatures during the last decade are reviewed. More than 60 such new materials have been reported since 1995.

Perovskite Nanowire Extrusion [PDF]
The defect tolerance of halide perovskite materials has led to efficient optoelectronic devices based on thin-film geometries with unprecedented speed. Moreover, it has motivated research on perovskite nanowires because surface recombination continues to be a major obstacle in realizing efficient nanowire devices.

Effect of ionic radii on the Curie temperature in Ba1-x-ySrxCayTiO3 compounds [PDF]
A series of Ba1-x-ySrxCayTiO3 compounds were prepared with varying average ionic radii and cation disorder on A-site. All samples showed typical ferroelectric behavior.

Electrospun Perovskite Nanofibers [PDF]
CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite nanofibers were synthesized by versatile electrospinning techniques. The synthetic CH3NH3PbI3 nanofibers were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and photoluminescence. As counter electrodes, the synthesized nanofibers increased the performance of the dye-sensitized solar ...
