We have studied the effect of ultrafast laser-heating on the magnetization dynamics of perpendicularly magnetized CoFeB film by means of the time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr rotation effect. The effective perpendicular magnetic anisotropy field ${H}_{K}

Theoretical and experimental study on magnetically-actuated micromirrors for electromagnetic NDE
Magnetically-actuated Micromirrors as Micro-electromechanical devices have exhibited their superiority over other magnetic sensing techniques in terms of high sensitivity and high spatial resolution, which is favoured not only by quantitative ...

Perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of CoFeB\Ta bilayers on ALD HfO2
Perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) is an essential condition for CoFe thin films used in magnetic random access memories. Until recently, interfacial PMA was mainly known to occur in materials stacks with MgO\CoFe(B) interfaces or using an adjacent ...

Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

Origin of Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy in Tb-Fe Amorphous Alloy
The origin of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy has been investigated in a thick Tb-Fe amorphous alloy plate prepared by dc high-rate sputtering. In the as-prepared samples with and without a Cu substrate, no distinct difference in perpendicular magnetic

Perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of cobalt films intercalated under graphene
International audienceMagnetic properties of nanometer-thick Co films intercalated at the graphene/Ir(111) interface are investigated using spin-polarized low-energy electron microscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy. We show that the graphene top layer

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...
