Gaussian Padovan and Gaussian Perrin numbers and properties of them [PDF]

open access: yesAsian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2019
In this paper, the Gaussian Padovan and Gaussian Perrin numbers are defined. Then Binet formula and generating functions of these numbers are given. Also, some summation identities for Gaussian Padovan and Gaussian Perrin numbers are obtained by using the recurrence relation satisfied by them.

On Tribonacci numbers written as a product of two Perrin numbers

open access: yesAsian-European Journal of Mathematics
In this paper, we give all solutions of the Diophantine equation [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] x [Formula: see text] x [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] is the Perrin sequence, and [Formula: see text] is the Tribonacci sequence. We show that this Diophantine equation has only [Formula: see text] integer solution triples.

ON EXPRESSING TRIBONACCI NUMBERS AS PRODUCTS OF TWO PERRIN NUMBERS

open access: yes
involving classical number sequences such as the Fibonacci, Lucas, and Pellsequences. These investigations—especially on equalities, factorizationidentities, and exponential equations—have led to important developments inboth theoretical and computational number theory.

Padovan and Perrin hyperbolic spinors [PDF]

open access: yesComputational and Applied Mathematics
In this study, we intend to bring together Padovan and Perrin number sequences, which are one of the most popular third-order recurrence sequences, and hyperbolic spinors, which are used in several disciplines from physics to mathematics, with the help ...

Determination of Avogadro's number by Perrin's law

Journal of Chemical Education, 1965
The experimental procedure for determining Avogadro's number by the Perrin method includes preparing a monodisperse colloid, ascertaining the mass of the particles, and making an accurate count of the number of particles at two points in the equilibrated colloid.

Properties of Cordonnier, Perrin and Van der Laan numbers

International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology, 2006
This paper aims to explore some properties of certain third-order linear sequences which have some properties analogous to the better known second-order sequences of Fibonacci and Lucas. Historical background issues are outlined. These, together with the number and combinatorial theoretical results, provide plenty of pedagogical opportunities for ...
