Analysis of the performance of polarimetric PSI over distributed scatterers with Sentinel-1 data

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Earth Observations and Geoinformation, 2023
Sentinel−1 (S1) data enables effective monitoring of displacements using persistent scatterer interferometry (PSI). S1 includes VV and VH polarization channels, allowing us to apply polarimetric techniques to PSI.

Persistent current of relativistic electrons on a Dirac ring in presence of impurities

open access: yes, 2014
We study the behavior of persistent current of relativistic electrons on a one dimensional ring in presence of attractive/repulsive scattering potentials. In particular, we investigate the persistent current in accordance with the strength as well as the

The PSIG chain: an approach to Persistent Scatterer Interferometry [PDF]

open access: yesSPIE Proceedings, 2014
The PSIG procedure is a new approach to Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI), which is implemented in the in-house PSI chain of the Geomatics Division of the CTTC. The PSIG procedure has been successfully tested over urban, rural and vegetated areas using X-band SAR data.

Monitoring Building Activity by Persistent Scatterer Interferometry

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
In many countries globally, information for new buildings is either scarce or incomplete. In an effort to bridge this information gap an approach based on public domain synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite data is introduced. The method is based on the persistent scatterer interferometry (PSI) technique in order to detect newly constructed ...

A fast and accurate basis pursuit denoising algorithm with application to super-resolving tomographic SAR [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
$L_1$ regularization is used for finding sparse solutions to an underdetermined linear system. As sparse signals are widely expected in remote sensing, this type of regularization scheme and its extensions have been widely employed in many remote sensing

A technical review on persistent scatterer interferometry [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Modern Transportation, 2016
This article focuses on reviewing the technologies of persistent scatterer interferometry (PSI), which has been often used to monitor the deformation of Earth surface. Three critical steps in the implementation of PSI were introduced, i.e., (1) detection of persistent scatterer (PS), (2) construction of PS network, and (3) PSI modeling and solution ...

An Improved Stanford Method for Persistent Scatterers Applied to 3D Building Reconstruction and Monitoring

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
Persistent scatterers interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PS-InSAR) is capable of precise topography measurement up to sub-meter scale and monitoring subtle deformation up to mm/year scale for all the radar image pixels with stable radiometric ...

PSDefoPAT—Persistent Scatterer Deformation Pattern Analysis Tool

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
Persistent Scatterer Deformation Pattern Analysis Tool, for short PSDefoPAT, was designed to assign each measuring point of an advanced DInSAR data set a best-fitting time series model based on its displacement time series. In this paper, we will outline the operating principles of the tool.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Spin and interaction effects on charge distribution and currents in one-dimensional conductors and rings within the Hartree-Fock approximation

open access: yes, 1998
Using the self--consistent Hartree-Fock approximation for electrons with spin at zero temperature, we study the effect of the electronic interactions on the charge distribution in a one-dimensional continuous ring containing a single $\delta $ scatterer.
