Personal cooling using thermal conduction on the desk
2015In order to reduce the energy load on buildings, the indoor climate will not be maintained within narrow boundaries in the future. With the application of local conditioning systems that offer individual building occupants the possibility to increase their personal comfort level, a narrow boundary is no longer necessary.

Efficient local personal cooling with fluctuating airflows
2015Overheating in buildings is an increasingly important issue. Various studies show that local personalized cooling can substantially improve comfort levels while saving energy. Airflows are an efficient approach for local cooling. Fluctuating airflows seem more effective and are potentially perceived more comfortable compared to continuous airflows.
