Mortality salience increases death-anxiety for individuals low in personal need for structure

Research derived from terror management theory suggests that death cognition does not lead to death-anxiety because people respond to thoughts of death by turning to social and cultural structures that provide a sense of psychological security.

In Situ Interfacial Assembly of Dynamic Semi‐Interpenetrating Biopolymer Networks for Robust and Mechanically Adaptive Droplet Interfaces

A dynamic interfacial semi‐interpenetrating polymer network is constructed by sequential assembly of β‐sheet‐rich SF and CS‐RL. The SF framework provides mechanical strength, while dynamically associated CS‐RL enables local rearrangement, allowing droplets to rapidly reconfigure without loss of interfacial integrity.
