A personal computer approach to overcurrent protective device coordination
The personal computer offers several advantages over both manual methods and shared-computer methods for overcurrent protective device coordination. The fast graphics display of a personal computer makes it possible to achieve a practical replacement for the light table. A computerized approach to overcurrent protective device coordination is presented.

Personal respiratory protective devices: efficacy of Millipore and Whatman filters.
A Millipore filter with 0.22 micron pore size and a Whatman grade 1 filter with > 11 microns particle retention were used to capture laser smoke particle mimic atmospheric suspended particulate matter. The experiment was conducted at the Department of Otolaryngology in Ramathibodi Hospital from April 1996 to October 1997.

Safety device for protecting persons against falling injuries
2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME), 2017This paper presents an attempt to create a protecting costume for vulnerable people. The device that acts upon inflating the costume is based on an accelerometer, and all the data is processed by an Arduino microcontroller. The code is written in Arduino IDE.

Personal attenuation ratings versus derated noise reduction ratings for hearing protection devices
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2022National and international regulatory and consensus standards setting bodies have previously proposed derating hearing protector ratings to provide a better match between ratings determined in a laboratory and the real-world measurements of attenuation for workers. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has proposed a derating scheme

[Adequacy of personal hearing protection devices].
Giornale italiano di medicina del lavoro ed ergonomia, 2011At present, attenuation values reported on the hearing protection device (HPD) label are strongly overestimated due to an evaluation method inappropriate for the environments in which they have to be used: the workplaces. An alternative test protocol was validated and published as standard.
