Protocol‐Agnostic Meta Key Distribution for Encrypted Wireless Communications Enabled by Space‐Time‐Coding Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper presents a programmable metasurface‐based Meta Key Distribution (MKD) system for secure, protocol‐independent key exchange in indoor wireless settings. By embedding entropy into the wireless channel, it enables lightweight, compatible cryptographic key generation.

Boron Nitride Nanomaterials Trigger Immunomodulatory Effects in Human Broncho‐Epithelial Cells by Modulating Eicosanoid Lipid Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that BNNT exposure disrupts lipid homeostasis in bronchial epithelial cell cultures and activates eicosanoid lipid biosynthesis, producing inflammatory lipid mediators like leukotrienes. These effects are more pronounced in asthmatic cell cultures compared to healthy ones.

Repurposing of Chemokine Antagonists for Combined Phase‐Resolved Spinal Cord Injury Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spinal cord injury (SCI) in mammals is accompanied by a massive cytokine storm in cerebrospinal fluid, mainly driven by CXCL1, IL‐6, and CCL2‐5. Sub‐acute phase is mostly associated with IL‐2, IL‐7, CCL22, and CX3CL1, whereas TNFα and IL17α permanently persists in CNS even weeks following SCI.

Aptamer Engineering: Strategies for Discovering Functional Nucleic Acids for Next‐Generation Diagnostics and Biosensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The advent of aptamers has highlighted their potential as alternatives to antibodies, overcoming limitations of structural instability and production cost. However, conventional approaches such as SELEX remain slow and labor‐intensive. This review examines recent advances in aptamer engineering, emphasizing in vitro and AI‐driven in silico strategies ...
