On the localization of the personalized PageRank of complex networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper new results on personalized PageRank are shown. We consider directed graphs that may contain dangling nodes. The main result presented gives an analytical characterization of all the possible values of the personalized PageRank for any node.

Impact of Intra-Layer Clustering on Information Diffusion Dynamics in Multilayer Complex Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access
Complex networks represent non-trivial topologies of connected natural and artificial systems. Revealing how information spreads within such multilayered systems is critical to the investigation of processes such as social influence, rumor spread, and ...

A multi‐source fusion and dynamic verification framework for scientific knowledge graph construction: Methods, evaluation, and applications

open access: yesAI Magazine, Volume 47, Issue 2, Summer 2026.
Abstract The exponential growth of scientific literature—over 2.5 million papers and 3.5 million patents annually—poses critical challenges for knowledge discovery. To address these, we propose SCIMKG (Scientific Knowledge Graph), a framework for constructing scientific knowledge graphs via multi‐source heterogeneous multi‐source.

Dynamic personalized pagerank in entity-relation graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Extractors and taggers turn unstructured text into entity-relation(ER) graphs where nodes are entities (email, paper, person, conference, company) and edges are relations (wrote, cited,works-for).
